Recognized as the best Modern Day Golf Course Architect by Golf Digest Magazine not once but three times, Fazio was the second architect to receive the Old Tom Morris Award by the Golf Course Superintendent’s Association of America.

Tom designed courses all over the US, including the Estancia Club in Scottsdale, Arizona and Primm Valley Golf Club in Nipton, California. He designed two courses in Florida, Lake Nona Golf & Country Club in Orlando, and the PGA National Resort and Spa in Palm Beach Gardens. Tom took his talents to an international level with a design in Ontario, Canada in Woodbridge with the National Golf Club of Canada and a redesign of Adare Manor in County Limerick Ireland.

Tom credits much of his success to his team, many of whom have worked with him for 30-40 or more years. His belief that the courses should reflect the natural beauty that surrounds them has helped to create some breathtaking designs. His courses provide a challenging experience to golfers of all skill levels.

Still a Family Business

Tom has passed his love for golf course design to his son, Logan. Logan has worked with his father for over 20 years. Tom and his family are active in their community, supporting several children’s causes both locally and around the country.

Along with the courses he has personally designed, Tom has also consulted on course renovations and preparations for tournaments in the US Open Championships and PGA Championships. He also worked with the 2020 Kasumigaski Country Club in Kawagoe, Tokyo in Japan for the Olympic games.

Tom’s company not only designs new courses but renovates existing courses and helps with long-range planning and construction management. His name is well-recognized in the world of golf and well-respected for the quality of his designs for amateur and professional golfers alike.
